Description:
Intended primarily for educating students, the Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center hosts a range of educational programs ranging from live animal presentations to nature walks and hands-on activities. The center is surrounded by two nature trails that feature informational signs about the area and the native plants that can be seen. It is located south of Columbus in the Oxbow Meadows Environmental Park, just west of Fort Benning.
Hours of Operation:
Open Tue. - Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun., 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Closed Mon. Contact for reservations.
